Your APU NetID

Your APU NetID and Password together provide an efficient, secure way to access computer-based resources on campus. Using this unique combination of identifiers enables students, staff, and faculty to log in to any campus system using the same credentials without lowering the level of security applied to the information stored on those systems.

Your APU NetID is the part of your apu.edu email address before the @ symbol.

Your APU User Name and Password are required to access the following campus computing resources:
home.apu.edu and other applications, including

Security and the University Portal

Logging into home.apu.edu logs you into all the applications integrated into the portal that you're authorized to access, so there are some specific security precautions all users should be aware of:
  • Keeping your password secret and secure is more important than ever
  • In a public location, take care to shield your device when entering your password
  • Never leave your workstation unattended - log out, close your browser, and set a screen saver lock if you have one (this is particularly important for portable devices and shared machines)
  • Depending on your browser, applications will sometimes open in new tabs or windows - make sure to close ALL your browser sessions to fully exit
When using campus resources through APU's single sign-on, be sure to close your browser to fully quit or exit the application when you complete your session
